Florida requires minimal insurance. The two insurances you must have is PIP, which stands for Personal Injured Protection and property damage which covers you when you're at fault for damaging someone else’s car. However, you should also consider buying bodily injury liability as well as uninsured motorist which can protect you when someone that hist you does not have the proper coverage.
